While he eats plenty, he has not been packing on the pounds any more. This is because he is on the move constantly with his new crawling skillz. (Yay us....how we remember fondly the days of him staying put in one place on the floor while we did chores around the house!) Dash has also mastered pulling himself up on various pieces of furniture. His balance is improving, and he can sometimes stand with just his one hand supporting himself. He hasn't had any first steps or walked while holding on to furniture thankfully. Dash enjoys exploring the house on his hands and knees much more than any of his toys. Of course he continues to get into things that he shouldn't (the cat food, the trash, the front loader washing machine, the cat door).
Dash is getting to be super interactive. He seems to be very social and tries to get the attention of strangers when we are out in public. He does seem to have a lack of stranger anxiety at this point although he definitly knows his parents and does prefer us (or so we think!). He likes to make eye contact and smile. He has learned to wave goodbye as well, although he won't always do it when you want him to.
